What to Expect During Your Neurotoxin Appointment…..
Consent Forms will be emailed once your appointment is booked, if you do not have a chance to fill them out prior they will be done during your appointment time
Medical Clearance by a Licensed Nurse Practitioner
Evaluation of your facial muscles to determine product amount
Little to no pain during the procedure, topical numbing cream is available upon request
You may notice a small amount of bleeding following injections
Bruising can also occur but can be treated with an Arnica regimen
A very small amount of swelling may also be present following your injections, this will resolve within a few hours
This appointment typically lasts 30 minutes for new clients, 15-20 minutes for returning clients
A follow up visit will be scheduled 2 weeks after neurotoxin injections
You will be given post-care instructions prior to leaving the office
Contraindications…..
This treatment is not recommended in clients who are pregnant or lactating, who are allergic to neurotoxin, have an infection at the site of treatment, previous unfavorable results, unrealistic expectations, and clients with a neuromuscular diagnosis.
